Pro-Freedom Candidate for USA President in 2008

September 13, 2007Well folks, I’m having a hard time believing it, but it’s true.

We actually have a candidate for President of the United States who has principles, lives by them, and believes in what this nation was founded on – limited Constitutional government.

We’re talking about a man who has never voted to raise taxes. Never voted to raise his own congressional pay. Never voted to increase the power of the executive branch of government. Voted against the anti-freedom Patriot Act. And – and this is where readers of this site may be most interested – Rep. Ron Paul (Republican, Texas) has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.

Dr. Paul – he is an OB/GYN – has for several years been quoted at the top of the home page for Gun Owners of America (GOA), crediting GOA with being “The only no-compromise gun lobby in Washington.” So when I heard his name, it was familiar to me.

I like GOA, and I like Ron Paul.

Both stand for freedom without compromise. We need more of that.

Does he have a chance to be President? I sure hope so. He is the only light I have seen at the end of the tunnel for a number of years.

Ron Paul for President!

– Russ Chastain

  1. Eric Kuhlmann Says:

He has a chance if we put him there. Its our country, dont let any MSM poll tell you he cant win. If he doesnt win its a reflection on us.

Did you see Paul shredding Ben Bernanke in a recent youtube video? How can anyone NOT vote for him after that. Intelligence, principles, honesty, supports the constitution? No brainer, even if you dont agree with him on everything. If we cant value consistant principled integrity who are we as a people?

  2. Welcome Russ Chastain to the champion of the constitution and next president of the United States of Americas team who is none other than…Dr./Congressman Ron Paul of Texas!!! You have impeccable taste I might add. 🙂
